Welcome to Cochran County, Texas

Most County offices will be closed Wednesday thru Friday, November 27-29, 2024, in celebration of Thanksgiving Day. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 2.
  • The Cochran County Commissioners Court will meet in regular session each second Monday of the month and on the next-to-last business day of each month. In 2024, there will also be regular meetings on August 5th, August 19th, and September 3rd as needed for our budget process.

    Meetings are held in the Commissioners Courtroom at the courthouse at 9:30 a.m. Agendas are posted on the Agendas tab at least 3 days prior to each meeting.
